Invention and Innovation: Strategies for Managing and Leading in Head Start

New ideas and improved approaches are necessary when organizations are changing or when the future is uncertain. Using the strategies of invention and innovation can help Head Start program leaders to become more creative, responsive and agile during changing times. Invention and innovation apply creativity and resourcefulness to stimulate new ideas or improve existing ones. Using both strategies can produce new opportunities, cutting edge approaches and effective leadership.
